xanny

00:00 / 02:38

“Xanny” flips the emotional tone we got from “24” and dives headfirst into a darker, more chaotic mental space. It’s introspective, yes—but more turbulent. The vibe is disoriented, moody, and laced with escapism, just like the title suggests.

The instrumental is hypnotic, with a hazy, almost psychedelic quality. Synths and effects feel warped, mimicking the high or mental blur described in the lyrics.

Vocals are layered in a way that feels immersive, even claustrophobic at times (in a good way). It amplifies the feeling of being lost in thought or substance.

Eddy Akwa: He leans into a slurred, emotionally detached tone—perfect for a track about numbing pain. There’s vulnerability hidden in the numbness.

AkTheEscapist: His feature is on point. Adds a different flavor but matches the vibe well. He brings a slightly sharper energy that contrasts nicely with Eddy’s drifting delivery.

Together, they paint a picture of people dealing with reality in different but equally unhealthy ways.

The way the beat and vocals blend into that woozy, almost underwater atmosphere is cinematic.

The outro fades out in a way that feels like someone slipping further into isolation. It’s haunting..

“Xanny” is haunting and honest. Eddy and AkTheEscapist both understand the emotional landscape they’re moving through. It’s a track that doesn’t glorify the dark—it just shows it for what it is.
